Base Entertainment Asia just sent out an email news update about a new Immersive Disney Animation Experience coming to Singapore in November 2023!
Based on the event website, fans can expect to experience well loved Disney songs like never before, interact with the surroundings using a wristband given and watch colours come alive!
From these descriptions, I have a feeling that it will be similar to the previous 2 exhibitions Disney has held in Singapore - A Disney Animation Experience in 2019 and the Star Wars Identities Exhibition in 2021. In the Star Wars Identities exhibition, in addition to showcasing some of the amazing storyboard, props and costume collection used in the films, visitors were also given a wristband to create their own galactic character and customise their outfit. Speculation: perhaps the wristbands let's us choose colours and each colour represents one iconic Disney film song moment! Then it shoots into the big screens and plays for everyone to enjoy.
Star Wars Identities 2021, not sure why I named her "Chewbracca" but we're rolling with it.
No further information has been released yet, except that it's coming on November 18, 2023 and fans can register on the waitlist for tickets & updates! I will keep this page posted for updates and a review once I do go!

More information has been released about this immersive experience.
As expected, the event is a "360-degree multi-sensory experience" that will take visitors through a plethora of Disney magic through 40 of its blockbuster movie scenes through state-of-the-art projections. There will also be interactive exhibits that will show visitors (it's all about the show right? hehe) what it looks like working for the Walt Disney Animation Studios.
Ticket information has been released as well, with 3 categories available for selection. VIP and Premium ticket holders will be able to redeem exclusive not-for-sale merchandise items unique to the experience which sounds really enticing. No sneak peaks given as of yet of what the merch items are but I'm probably going to get the VIP tickets either way just to have a look.

The RFID wristbands can be collected back and reused/recycled!! This is so great as event wristbands are indeed a source of single-use (sometimes plastic) waste; hats off to the organisers for thinking about using this as an opportunity to reduce waste.
This is the Southeast Asian debut for this Disney exhibition, so I'd expect crowds for the first few weeks. Hurry and get your tickets fast, some time slots are already sold out!
